Beautifully positioned in between the Prague Castle and the Old Town, this district is layered with history and beauty. From the winding streets, wonderfully preserved buildings and hills with sweeping views, we’ll join you for a tour of three carefully selected pubs, one of which is a top-rated microbrewery, that serve up some of the best beers in the country.
Starting with a classic, we’ll taste a fresh, unpasteurized version of Pilsner Urquell and learn about the history surrounding this unique lager, as well as how to properly taste and experience beer. You’ll learn firsthand how different a beer can taste when it’s fresh.
Leaving the original golden lager behind us, we’ll start sampling more beers from smaller Czech breweries, learning about the different beer styles, flavours and traditional brewing methods that set the Czech Republic apart. Our beer tasting tour is suitable as an introduction to Czech beer and for beer enthusiasts alike. An exciting way to taste the wide world of flavours of the world’s favourite beverage and experience a beautiful part of Prague, all the while learning about Czech history through the perspective of beer.
Our Mala Strana Pub Hop includes a scenic leisurly walk uphill. From our first pub to the second pub, you’ll have to walk along a historic street tucked below the castle, for about 10-15 minutes. From our second pub to the last, there’s a less demanding walk of about 5 minutes, with a spectacular view of Prague below. If this amount of walking concerns you, we can easily take the tram, but please let us know beforehand.
We don’t think it’s too demanding, and including a bit of exercise is good for building up thirst for your next beer!

I got this tour as a birthday gift from my wife, and didn't really know much about it in advance. Gotta say it was 3 hours well spent! Sarah, our guide, knew much about the local beer (or well, beer in general) and we had a really great time with her. My wife don't even drink beer, and yet she thought it was a great an interesting tour!

Can only thoroughly recommend this interesting fact filled, beer tasting afternoon tour. Our group was lucky enough to be with Sarah, who was the perfect host and great company throughout. If you are visiting Prague as a group, it is a bit of a 'must do'.
The guide, Sarah was a superguide and really trying to get the best info out of the beer experience. Interesting to visit the brewery at the end of the tour.
We had a Great time with Sarah. She knew everything about beer and the Czech brewery culture. We tasted a few very good beer in different Locations, the best one was up the hill beside the castle. Thank you for the Great time, we also had a lot of fun!
Can't say enough how awesome this was! We were going to be in Praque for three days and really wanted to get the most. We put a lot on our plate and this beer tour was the last thing that we found. It was a no-brainer that this was a must do considering we are in the country that invented Pilsner. Sarah was very passionate and descriptive about the love of beer and what goes in to it.
